Driver (Class C)The Non-CDL Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and professional delivery of glass, screens, and related products to customers. This role requires strong attention to safety, customer service, and accurate recordkeeping.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate company vehicles (non-CDL), including trucks and vans, in compliance with all traffic laws and company policiesDeliver products to customers efficiently while meeting designated route schedulesLoad, secure, transport, and unload materials to prevent damage or injuryPerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety issuesMaintain accurate delivery records, including mileage, delivery times, and fuel usageProvide professional and courteous customer service at all timesCommunicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers regarding schedules or issuesHandle customer concerns or complaints professionally and escalate when necessaryEnsure cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle (cab and cargo area) at the end of each shiftComplete all required paperwork accurately and timelyFollow all company safety rules and proceduresWork overtime as needed based on business demandsPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsMinimum QualificationsMust be at least 21 years of ageValid California Class C Driver's LicenseAcceptable driving record in accordance with company policy (no DUI convictions)Minimum of 1–2 years of delivery or commercial driving experience preferredFamiliarity with Bay Area routes is a plusStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyRegulatory RequirementsMust meet all applicable DOT and company driver requirementsValid Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT medical card) required, if applicable based on vehicle type and weightEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull 75 pounds or moreFrequent bending, stooping, squatting, and reachingAbility to work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain
