We are looking for a hands-on maintenance professional who already understands apartment maintenance, resident work orders, unit turns, and the fast-paced demands of a multifamily property.ResponsibilitiesComplete resident work orders and maintenance requestsPerform apartment make-ready and unit-turn workTroubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general maintenance issuesPerform preventative maintenance throughout the communityMaintain vacant units, common areas, and property groundsDiagnose maintenance issues and complete repairs efficientlyMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaCommunicate professionally with residents and property managementAssist with other maintenance duties as neededRequirementsMUST have previous apartment/multifamily maintenance experienceStrong hands-on maintenance skillsExperience with apartment turns and make-readiesWorking knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliancesAble to troubleshoot and complete work orders independentlyReliable transportation and dependable attendanceProfessional attitude and strong work ethicHVAC/EPA certification is a plusMust be able to start ASAPWE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:Can hit the ground runningHas experience working in an apartment communityKnows how to handle resident work ordersCan work independently without extensive trainingTakes pride in quality work and keeping a property running smoothlyLocation: Rock Island, IL 61201Position: Apartment Maintenance TechnicianExperience: Apartment/Multifamily Maintenance REQUIRED
