CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Location

Butler, PA | Radiology – CT Department

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Varied daylight and afternoon start times | Every other weekend required | Holidays optional | No call or standby requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Perform emergency and routine outpatient CT studies within a high-volume radiology department averaging approximately 150 scans per day across multiple scanners
• Operate department-specific CT equipment including GE, Siemens, and/or Canon scanners depending on assigned location
• Start and manage IV access as required for contrast-enhanced imaging studies
• Work within a department supported by on-site radiologists and a radiology supervisor or lead tech typically present during daylight shifts
• Utilize Meditech Expanse EMR and Philips PACS for image acquisition, documentation, and archiving

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification (CT) required
• Current BLS certification required
• Proficiency with GE or Siemens CT equipment (primary location) or Canon CT equipment (satellite location)
• Ability to perform IV starts independently
• Ability to work varied daylight and afternoon shifts, including every other weekend

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume radiology or emergency imaging environment
• Familiarity with Meditech Expanse EMR and/or Philips PACS systems
• Comfort working across multiple scanner rooms within a single department
